| On the 15th of August 2008 the Pan-disability Lisburn Badminton Club were jetting off again to another tournament. This time at the Welsh Institute of Sport in Cardiff for the first leg of the 2008/09 Four Nations Disabled Badminton Championships.

| Niall McVeigh added further to his medal tally by winning the Silver in the Men's Dwarf Singles, the Men's Dwarf Doubles with Krysten Coombs and the Dwarf Mixed Doubles with Emma Farnham. He made it to the final of the singles of the by beating Andrew Martin in the semi final 2 sets to 1 to then face Oliver Clarke in the final this time losing 2 sets to 1. In the Mixed doubles The experience of Andrew Martin and Rachel Choong was too much for Emma and Niall to handle.

| Luke Irvine and David Kelly Played well to win their first doubles match as a partnership beating Edward Johnson and Michael Pope a to close for comfort 21-20 with Michael pope hitting the net on match point. |
| Michael Smith Playing in the men's wheelchair classification unfortunately lost in the final of the doubles with his English partner. |
| Laura-Lee Jenkins also played well competing in the Ladies Wheelchair classification playing in singles and Mixed doubles with Jim McKay of Wales. |
